Hon. Theresa Omang Presenting Wrappers To Widows

In the spirit of Christmas and  new year celebration, the Councillor representing Ekpashi ward and Deputy Leader Boki Local Government Council, Honourable Theresa Omang has presented Wrappers and other items worth hundreds of naira to widows  in three communities of Ntamante, Nkim and Agba.

Presenting the items on Thursday at the Deputy Leader’s house in Nkim Osokom,  Hon Omang said the gesture is part of her resolve to reach out to as many less privilege in the communities as possible,  adding that her pet project which is touching the lives of orphans and widows has become a part of her  and would do more if given the enablement. 
While Thanking the beneficiaries for coming she charge them to continue to pray for her , assuring them that  as things improve they will also benefit more.
Responding on behalf of beneficiaries Mrs  Ban Abang thanked Honourable Omang for reaching out to them in this critical moment of their lives and pray God to continue to bless, protect and give her good health, open more doors for her as she has taken it upon herself to put smiles on their faces.

In a related development the men of Ekpashi ward were not left out as they were presented with a very big cow for the Christmas celebration,  representatives of the various communities   expressed excitement and joy for her kind gesture saying they have never witness anything of such since the Inception of Ekpashi ward.

Earlier, the Cross River State House of Assembly member representing Osokom 2, Honourable Hillary Ekpang Bisong  who was represents by  his Secretary, Mr John .T said his boss would have loved to be at the presentation of the cow to the communities but could not make it as other pressing matters came up, he used the occasion to  charge elders and community leaders to maintain peace at all times as they cannot be any meaningful development in the communities without commensurate peace.


In his words ” try and ensure that we have peace and take it as a personal commitment to report those who would  want to disrupt the peace being enjoyed by the communities”.

He also warned them against anybody taking the laws in into their hands.

On her part the Councillor appreciated the Chairman Boki Local Government Council Pastor .John Ewa  Who made it possible and pray that God continues to give him the wisdom to take Boki Local Government Council to enviable heights.
