NIMC Director General, Engineer Aliyu A. Aziz Receives Award Of Accountability, Transparency

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has bagged the 2019/2020 Federal Government Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) award after it ranked First on the scorecard for ranking websites of Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

Receiving the award on behalf of NIMC, the Director General/CEO, Engr. Aliyu A. Aziz, thanked the organizing committee of BPSR, and assured of the Commission’s commitment towards delivering its mandate under the supervision of the Honorable Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr. Ali Isa Ibrahim (Pantami).

The recognition is come at a better time, as the Commission recently recorded another enviable feat by ranking 3rd (Third) in the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) Transparency and Accountability index of 55 Federal Government of Nigeria regulatory agencies.

Engr. Aliyu Aziz while dedicating both awards to Staff, noted that the unrelenting dedication and hard work of Staff made the achievements possible.

He further reassured that the Commission will continue to strive to keep up the good performance rankings while fulfilling its mandates, and looks forward to surpassing this year’s accomplishments in the coming years.
