The Senate has applauded the digitisation initiatives of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) geared towards improving the ease of doing business, thereby, contributing immensely to the growth of the economy.
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Trade and Investment Senator Francis Fadaunsi, gave the commendation when he led other senators on an oversight function to the Commission’s Port Harcourt Office.
The committee further urged the Commission to sustain the tempo noting which has led to the removal of bottlenecks around registration processes, thereby making it faster than it use to be.
Fadahunsi also eulogised the Registrar General, Alhaji Garba Abubakar as a man that is fit for the job for his hntireless efforts at driving the reforms being undertaken to make registration easy.
He enjoined Alhaji Garba Abubakar to keep up the good work by improving the Commision’s revenue in order to remit more operating surplus to the Federation Account.
Highlights of the visit include facility tour and interaction with staff of the CAC Port Harcourt Office.
