Protesters on Monday blocked the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua expressway leading to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

www.myprompttv.com quote The Punch as saying the group known as #RevolutionNow, led by Omoyele Sowore carried their placard while also chanting “Buhari Must Go”, and set up bonfires in the middle of the road thereby prevented free movement of motorists.

The airport road was similarly blocked in October last year when protesters calling for disbandment of the dreaded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit of the police staged a protest on the busy route.

Elsewhere, protesters led by a half-naked woman blocked the Abuja-Kaduna expressway, protesting the killing of her son by armed bandit who are operating along the axis.
