
The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has finalized the disbursement of Five Billion, One Hundred and Nineteen Million, Three Hundred and Twenty-Eight Thousand Naira Only (₦5,119,328,000) to 90,689 pensioners across the four pension departments, reaffirming its continued dedication and unwavering commitment to pensioners welfare.
The disbursement is in line with its avowed assurance to clear outstanding pension liabilities as funds are disbursed by the Federal Government.
The breakdown of the payment is as follows:
While PAPD with a total of 59,609 received the highest amount of N3,814,976,000 to offset 2 months, it was followed by PPD which houses 9,681 pensioners and received N619,584,000 for the same duration of two (2) months.
CSPD which has 12,773 pensioner got N408,736,000, and CIPPD with 8,626 pensioners received N276,032,000.00 as offset amount to cover for one month
According to the statement by the Head, Corporate Communications unit, Olugbenga Ajayi, this payment reaffirms the administration’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that pensioners receive their due entitlements in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
