The youths have been called upon participate actively in the political development of the country.

The Interfaith Youth Congress of Nigeria (IYCN) who stated this also said the era when Politics was left to the powerful or elderly alone was gone.

According to the National Co-ordinator,Interfaith Youth Congress of Nigeria (IYCN) comrade Hadassah Oyebimpe Wealth, this is the only way the legacy of the #ENDSARS protest would be preserved.

Wealth described the youth as a powerful force that could re-direct the nation towards the path of progress and development.

He further urged them to be shun distractions such as ethnic and religious advanced by selfish individuals.

She said the recent happenings in the country is a wake up call to all youths at home and in the Diaspora to get actively involved in the politics, Governance and Peace building process in the country.

The group also sympathized with all those who lost loved ones and property during the protest which was later hijacked by miscreants and called on them to desist from violence as they pursue holistic Police reforms which borders on training, welfare and accountability.
