The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Arc. Sonny Echono has expressed satisfaction with the infrastructural, human resource development and overall academic performance of students at the Federal Science and Technical College, Orozo in Abuja.

The Permanent Secretary, stated this weekend during the commissioning ceremony of various projects at the College, as he urge other unity colleges across the country to emulate the standard set by FSTC Orozo.

According to a statement made available to journalists by the Director Press and Public Relations Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Bem Goong, Arc. Echono used the occassion to commend the Principal of the school Mrs. Grace Kenneth for outstanding performances and achievments since she took over the helms of affairs as principal of the college, he urged the staff and students to make the best use of the facilities provided by government to enhance their teaching and learning.

The Projects commisisoned include a brand new five (5) bedroom Principal residential accommodation, two (2) bedroom boys quarters, staff accommodation, classroom and landscaping.

Earlier in her welcome address the Principal of the school Mrs. Grace Kenneth expressed her profound appreciation for the opportunity she has had to serve in this capacity.

The Principal said “Orozo has perform creditable well in all National Examinations especially for the 2018/2019 academic year in which it came third (3) in the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) examination nationwide, best fifty (50) schools in West African School Certificate Examination (WASSE), the Principal displayed certificates of excellence and commendation from National Examination bodies especially in the area of stenography where she said her school emerged the overall best, coming first in the National Examination Council (NECO) Senior School Certificate Eexamination (SSCE).”

The Principal noted that discipline has been fully restored in FSTC urging parents to feel free to bring in their children and wards.
