The ministry of Niger Delta Affairs has warn unsuspecting Nigerians to desist from ploy by fraudsters to make them part with their hard earned morning in the name of SDG’s contracts.

According to a statement made available to newsmen by  head press and public relations  of the ministry Mrs Deworitshe Patricia, the public is hereby to be aware that neither the Honourable Minister nor the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs is awarding any contract on SDG’s behalf or any other contract whatsoever.

She however said the unscrupulous individuals who have been using  fake Facebook accounts claim that the Office of the Honourable Minister of State is purportedly registering Companies to secure Contracts in respect of the Sustainable Development Goals office.

Patricia said the faceless individuals charge about N55,000 as Contract Registration Fee and about N350,000 for the collection of letters of award of contract.

She reiterated that For the avoidance of doubt, contracts in the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs are procured through due process only and the Honourable  Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs senator Omotayo Alasoadura has nothing to do with the SDG office which is under the direct control of the Presidency.

The ministry says it will deal ruthlessly with the perpetrators Of this fraudulent act if they do not desist from the act.
