In an unprecedented move, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a 30 per cent reduction of the price of diesel from N1200 to N1,000 per litre.
The reduction is N200 less than three (3) weeks ago when the refinery supplied marketers at N1200 per litre, when compared to the market price of between N1500 and N1600 per litre.
With the new reduction in the price of diesel at Dangote refinery, the nation’s economy is expected to experience a positive impact, especially as it affects inflation rate which has been on an upward trend since the Tinubu administration.
Meanwhile, relief might also come the way of Nigerians as Dangote Refinery is aiming at rolling out Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as fuel in May.
