The minister of State Power Goddy Jeddy Agba has condoled with the Federal Government of Nigeria and the family of the late chief of army staff, General Attahiru Ibrahim over his sudden death in a plane crash at the Kaduna International airport on Friday night.

The minister described the late General as a military giant who was determined to purge the country of insurgency, saying it was a colossal loss to the government of Nigeria, the family members and the entire military profession globally.

According to a statement and condolence message signed by the special assistant on media and communications strategy Mr. Ofem uket the minister prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

He urged the military and top ranking officers to use this sad moments to reflect on their relationship with God the creator who in his infinite mercies has kept us alive.
