
President Muhammadu Buhari has dissolved the Adams Oshiomhole-led All Progressives Congress, APC National working Committee, NWC.
The decision was reached Thursday in Abuja at the National Executive Council meeting of the ruling party at the Presidential Villa.
The Acting National Chairman, Victor Gaidom presided over the meeting which had in attendance the Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, governors of Nasarawa, Niger, Jigawa, Kogi, Imo, Gombe Osun, Ogun, Pleateau, Yobe, Kwaram, Kebbi,Kano and Ekiti.
Also in attendance are key Principal officers of the National Assembly. They include Deputy senate president, Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy Speaker Idris Wase, House leader Hassan Dogowa and the Deputy Chief Whip House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Nnnena Ukeje
consequently, Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni has been appointed as the chairman, All Progressives Congress APC’s caretaker committee and extraordinary national convention.
The president has however ordered the immediate suspension of all court cases.
