The Industrial Training Fund, ITF has warned Nigerians against fake recruitment advertisement making the rounds on social media, as the agency has not advertise for any category of recruitment this year.

The statement from the Director, Public Affairs Department, Mrs. Suleyol Fred Chagu urged Nigerians to take precautionary measures to avoid being scammed.

Chagu said the Fraudsters are on rampage to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians of their hard-earned time and resources

According to the statement “Let the pubic please be aware that there is no recruitment exercise going on in the Industrial Training Fund.

“These Individuals are only out to deceive and defraud the unsuspecting public”.

“some unscrupulous individuals created a fake profile and page of the Fund’s Director-General/Chief Executive on LinkedIn and Facebook using the telephone number 07025143825”, she said.

The advisory also warned Nigerians not to be cowed by the tricks of those pursuing this agenda in order to avoid being fleeced of their money.
