The Leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) has been called upon to urgently intervene by calling on the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu to respect the decision of the National Working Committee. 
In a statement jointly signed by the National Vice Chairman, North West,comrade Salihu Mohammed Lukman and the National  Vice Chairman south-west,Isaacs Kekemeke who are members of the National Working Committee,urged party leaders to pravail on Abdullahi Adamu to recognize that the business of managing the day-to-day affairs of the party is the responsibility of the NWC as provided in the provisions of the APC Constitution. 


The two NWC members former noted that the National Executive (NEC’s) donation of its powers was to NWC and not to the National Chairman or any individual.
They added that since effort to get the national chairman to respect the authority of the NWC as elected by the March 26, 2022 APC National Convention is proving very difficult,the APC National Chairman should stop invoking the name of President Muhammadu Buhari to blackmail NWC members into accepting his decisions. 
The APC chieftains however threatened that the National Working Committee may be forced to reject the outcome of the ongoing Presidential screening committee of the party.
