The Tinubu Faithful Group (TFG) has redirected it’s campaign to the re-election of the incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the scheduled March 11 Governorship elections.
The National Coordinator, TFG, Hon. Olusola Orelaja made the call in a statement signed by the group’s Deputy Media Coordinator, Comrade, Frederick Idehai.
Mr. Orelaja said the frontline support group after ensuring the victory and emergence of His Excellency, the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima in the February 25 Presidential Election, has redirected its focus and energy to ensure a landslide victory for Mr. Sanwo-Olu.
The TFG helmsman expressed displeasure over the non-chalant attitude of some Lagosians that led to the President-Elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu losing the state to an opposition party.
Hon. Orelaja while noting that his support group has already commenced an aggressive door-to-door campaign for March 11 poll, urged all legible voters in the state to come out en mass to defend their already threatened roots through the ballot by exercising their civic responsibility.
He however, reminded the electorates and of the enormous developmental strides recorded by the Lagos State Governor, even in the face of global economic challenges occasioned by the 2020 Corona Virus Pandemic (Covid-19) which need to be consolidated for the good and progress of all.
The TFG National Coordinator, further assured the President-Elect, the Lagos State Governor and other stakeholders of the availability of the Tinubu Faithful Group, a grassroots platform with huge presence in twenty-eight (28) states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT for their political partnership for the overall interest of the nation.
