The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says that no fewer than 175, 000 candidates participated in the mock examination organized ahead of the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) scheduled to start on May 6th.
The Registrar of JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyode who revealed this while monitoring the mock examination on Saturday, confirmed that the exercise held across different Computer Based (CBT) centres across the country was successful.
Prof.Oloyode who confirmed doing
sample inspections in Lagos and Ogun State, expressed satisfaction with the level of performance.
He further urged the candidates to make sure that they learn from the lessons of the mock examination which is to test their ability, adding that CBT centers in the two states visited were very functional.
The Registrar however said that the Board limited the number of candidates examined since it did not want to do more than one session across the country.
